LABORATORY SERVICES

US4Cure is proud to offer optional histology slide scanning and image analysis services with well-characterized clinical information:

• High-definition, brightfield, scanning with 3DHISTECH
• 20x or 40x magnification
• Image analysis (H&E, IHC, CISH, other visible stains) and quantitation of cancer biomarkers (e.g., ER, PR, Ki67, Her2, PD-L1)

ISOLATION OF PLASMA AND SERUM FROM PERIPHERAL BLOOD

We can isolate up to 10 – 15 ml plasma or serum per donor per blood draw, using our standard SOP or customized protocol. Obtained plasma and serum is aliquoted and cryopreserved as described in the protocol.

ISOLATION OF PERIPHERAL BLOOD MONONUCLEAR CELLS (PBMCS) AND BONE MARROW MONONUCLEAR CELLS (BMMCS)

PBMCs or BMMCs can be isolated from whole blood or bone marrow aspirate respectively. Isolated cells are cryopreserved and stored in liquid nitrogen vapor. Each vial of viable PBMCs or BMMCs contains at least 5 x 10E6 cells.

DNA AND RNA SPECIMENS

DNA and RNA specimens can be isolated from fresh tissue, FF tissue, FFPE tissue and peripheral blood procured from patients and normal donors.

ISOLATION OF VIABLE CELLS FROM DISSOCIATED FRESH TISSUE

Isolation of viable cells from dissociated fresh tissue can be performed, including isolation of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) from fresh tumor specimens.

SCREENING FOR GENE MUTATIONS

Subcontracted laboratories of Us4Cure provide a wide offering of mutation screening using real-time PCR.

Us4Cure screens for the following gene mutations:

• Breast Cancer KRAS, BRCA, PI3K
• Lung cancer – EGFR, KRAS, EML4-ALK
• Colorectal cancer – KRAS, BRAF, NRAS, PIK3CA
• Melanoma – BRAF, NRAS
• Leukemia – BCR-ABL, PML-RARA, E2A-PBX1, AML1-ETO, MLL-AF4, TEL-AML1

Other types of cancer could be screened upon request of the client.
